Charlie Lee is the creator of Litecoin and the Director of the Litecoin Foundation. He is a computer scientist holding a BS and MS, in computer science, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He is best known as the creator of Litecoin and also serves on the Board of Directors at Litecoin Foundation. Lee's earlier career included working at Google, writing code for ChromeOS. Then in 2013, he joined Coinbase as their Engineering Director.
